Week 32

Baby

Your little miracle has blue eyes! At this point in life, all babies have blue eyes, but it could easily (and often does) change after birth. This week he weighs nearly 4 pounds. Along with the weight this week, baby has also put on some fingernails and toenails to compliment his appearance! He will continue to grow more each day, hang in there, you are almost to the finish line!

Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. The information listed on this site is designed to give you a general idea of your baby’s current development.

Mommy

As we near the end of this journey, it is a good time to start making plans for the big day . You need to pack bags for you and baby, don't forget to get Dad some things too! Who will attend the delivery room with you? You should plan this in advance and discuss it with your doctor to make sure there are no surprises when it's "time". Also, some hospitals have a limit to the number of people allowed in the delivery room, so you will want to make sure you have all of your ducks in a row. If you had to take a potty break while reading this article, then you are aware that baby's weight is bearing down on your bladder causing what seems like regular trips to the bathroom every 5-10 minutes. This will continue until baby is born. Also, your bloods tends to pool in your lower limbs, causing a lack of cranial blood pressure. So beware when raising from a sitting position, take it slow to avoid becoming dizzy or lightheaded.
