Week 26

Baby

He can see! Baby's eyes open this week for the first time and he is able to see the womb that surrounds him. With this new addition, all of his 5 senses are now fully developed, he even has a sleep pattern all his own! The nerves in his ears are continuing to develop allowing him to respond more consistently to sounds. Your baby now weighs around 21 ounces and is measuring in at 14 inches.

Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. The information listed on this site is designed to give you a general idea of your baby’s current development.
