Week 10

Baby

This week your baby weighs about 4 grams and his “tail” has finally disappeared. His ears are completely formed on the outside, as well as his top lip. Most of his vital organs are beginning to function, although they will continue to mature through the remainder of your pregnancy. When you visit the doctor, it is likely you will be able to listen to his hearbeat through the fetal heartbeat monitor.

Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. The information listed on this site is designed to give you a general idea of your baby’s current development.

Mommy

Fatigue

You will most likely continue to feel so drained, you may not make it through the day without a nap. Try resting during your lunch or other breaks at work, If your office has a couch in the restroom, this would be a great place for a 10-20 minute rest in the middle of the day. If you are thinking of starting an exercise regimen, be sure to discuss this with your physician before you begin. He or she will be able to tell you what exercises are safe or not, or maybe even give you info on local prenatal fitness programs.
