- Snacks or change for vending machines

- Glasses or contact lenses
- Nightgown, housecoat
- Change of clothes, including something to wear home. Don't forget shoes!
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, hairbrush, hair pins or ties.
- Cell phone with charger
For Baby
- Baby's first outfit
- Diapers
- Receiving blankets
- Car seat
- Socks
- Hat
- Scratch mittens
- Bottles, if necessary
For Dad
- Glasses or contacts
- Comfortable shoes
- Change of clothes
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, hairbrush.
- Video camera
- Cell phone with charger
Make sure you pack your bags early! The last thing you will be able to focus on when labor begins is what you need to pack. Don't forget the car seat. A good idea may be to have it ready in the car so you don't have to worry about it later.
